Increase B2B email marketing over festive season, expert advises

Over the festive period companies should be looking to increase their B2B email marketing and direct mail campaigns so they remain fresh in potential clients’ minds, it has been claimed.
According to head of content at marketing automation firm LeadFormix Teena Gomes, the holidays can be used to reach out to clients with useful information and future products and services planned for next year.
Ms Gomes, writing in her blog, said the end of the year often brings around fewer meetings and business trips for clients, which means they are more likely to field B2B email marketing, as it is easier to make your presence felt.
“This will be a great opportunity to tell them about your product/service and give yourself a chance of being part of their vendor evaluation list for the coming year,” she continued.
According to director of marketing and communications at the Internet Advertising Bureau Sophia Hayes, companies should make their content exciting as well as informative over the Christmas period.
