B2B email marketing is a ‘powerful weapon’

B2B email marketing has become an increasingly powerful weapon for small businesses partly because of its lack of cost.
Most firms are looking to find a cost-effective way of reaching more and more subscribers, which they can do when using opt-in email marketing and social campaigns.
The ability to reach existing and new subscribers on business lists with targeted and consistent messaging for a relatively low price has been a great advancement of the last few years.
It is what makes the medium perhaps more appealing than direct mail, according to GraphicMail’s Wikus Engelbrecht.
The latest findings from the Direct Marketing Association found that open and click-through rates have been higher this year than they were in 2010.
“Not only is it much more cost-effective [than direct mail], but it also enables your business to create a much more intimate relationship with customers that drives loyalty and repeat business,” he added.
